Newness

The re-branding is complete! New website, new blog, new logo. Heather Hurt Photography is about to change locations as well. I am getting married in just three weeks (Woot woot!) so as of October, my new home base will be Cincinnati, Ohio. Though my business and I will no longer physically be in Portland, this city will always have a piece of my heart. With all this newness, I wanted to start the blog off with just one picture. It is one of my favorites of the year!

Directly after their ceremony, Abby and Matt headed upstairs with their wedding party to sign the marriage license. As their best friends came up the stairs and entered the room, a little impromptu dance party broke out. The celebration was so fun and genuine. Everyone was overwhelmed with goodness as they shared in their happiness. It was one of my favorite wedding moments to date. When things calmed down, the wedding party trickled downstairs to the reception. As I left the room to get downstairs and in a good spot for the grad entrance, I turned around and saw this:

The beaming joy from Abby’s face is priceless! These two are an amazing couple and I love this beautiful moment!

I also love this picture because it found itself among some amazing Portland talent! I am honored that my picture was included in this collection. This city will be missed so SO much and I am thankful for my time in Portland and the growth that has happened here as a photographer and a person!
