Pleased to Meet You!
I have been documenting people and stories professionally since 2009, but have loved looking at life through a camera lens since getting my first camera in middle school. Growing up my camera was my journal and the courage for my introvert soul.
I am a Registered Nurse by schooling who loves ice cream and stormy weather, but my love for people and photography fuels my wanderlust. I love how photography has brought me all over the world, but it became most meaningful to me in 2011 when I went to Southeast Asia to work with an organization that works to prevent the exploitation of children in the sex trade industry throughout the world.
On that trip, I was touched by joy and meaning while capturing interactions between the kids and my teammates. I began to see my photography as a meaningful way to capture genuine joy and connection, and to participate with others as we learn to love boldly and joyfully both in our biggest days and everyday adventures!
As my business has grown, so has my desire to leave my clients with something more lasting and tangible than pixels. More meaningful than images on a screen that are easily lost and forgotten. It is my job to leave you with something that will be treasured for generations, whether it is a portrait on the wall that tells the story of your family or a gorgeous album of your baby’s first days with you.
